Terms of Service
The deal, in plain English
These terms cover Nebby, Nebby Starter and Pro, the Fix Kit, Tenant Checkup and the Policy Pack, all run by Yinzer IT of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Last updated October 4, 2026.
This version is being reviewed by an attorney and may be updated. If it changes in a way that matters to you, we'll email paying customers before the change takes effect.
1. Using Nebby
You can use the free scan without an account. Paid features need an account, and you sign in with a link we email you. Keep your email account secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You're responsible for what happens under your account, including what your team members do.
Only scan, monitor or connect things you have a reason to: your own domains and Microsoft 365 tenants, your clients' with their permission, or prospects' public records. Don't use Nebby to harass anyone, to send spam, to break the law, or to overload or attack Nebby or anyone else. Don't try to get around plan limits, resell access, or copy the service. We can suspend accounts that do.
2. What Nebby does and doesn't do
The domain scan reads public DNS records and public web pages. Tenant Checkup reads Microsoft 365 settings through read-only access that the tenant's own admin approves and can remove at any time. Nebby never changes anything in your DNS, your website or your Microsoft 365.
Grades, findings, Fix Kit steps and reports are our best automated assessment at the time. They aren't a guarantee that a domain or tenant is secure, a penetration test, or an audit. Check changes before you make them, especially DNS changes, and keep a copy of the records you replace.
3. Plans, payment and renewal
Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record. Their checkout terms apply to the payment itself, and your receipts and tax come from them.
Nebby Starter and Pro renew automatically each month, or each year if you chose yearly, until you turn auto-renew off. You can turn it off any time from your account page. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you paid for, then stops. We don't charge cancellation fees.
The Fix Kit and the Policy Pack are one-time purchases. A Fix Kit is for the one domain it was bought for. A Policy Pack is for the one business named in it.
If we change a price, the new price applies from your next renewal after we've told you by email at least 30 days ahead.
4. Refunds
If you're not happy within 14 days of your first payment for a plan, or of buying a Fix Kit or Policy Pack, email [email protected] and we'll refund it. After that, payments for time already started aren't refunded, but turning off auto-renew stops the next one. A refunded Fix Kit or Policy Pack stops working.
5. Your data
What you put into Nebby, such as your domain lists, client names, branding, logos, policy answers and the reports Nebby makes for you, is yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you. Our privacy notice explains what we collect and how long we keep it. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time, except what tax and accounting rules require us to keep.
When you send a report or scorecard to a client through Nebby, you're responsible for having a reason to contact them. Every scorecard carries a one-click stop link, and we honor do-not-contact requests.
6. The Policy Pack
The Policy Pack produces templates written from your answers. It isn't legal advice, and using it doesn't create an attorney-client relationship. Laws and insurer requirements differ by state and industry. Have someone qualified review the documents before you rely on them, and keep them accurate as your business changes.
7. Our work and our name
Nebby's software, wording, check logic, report designs and the Nebby and Yinzer IT names belong to Yinzer IT. You may share and print the reports and documents Nebby makes for you, including with your own branding on them, and edit the Policy Pack documents for your business.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Nebby running but can't promise it will never be down or error-free. We may add, change or retire features. If we retire something you paid for in advance, we'll refund the unused part.
9. Limits on liability
Nebby is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Yinzer IT isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data, or the cost of a security incident, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they apply only as far as the law permits.
10. Ending your account
You can stop using Nebby and ask us to close your account at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after warning you where that's reasonable. Sections 5, 7 and 9 keep applying after an account closes.
11. Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Pennsylvania. If something goes wrong, email us first; most things get sorted out that way. If not, disputes go to the state or federal courts in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
